Over the past twelve months, we’ve been proud to partner with American Express to expand our impact across the United States.
A standout moment came when our founder, Sir Lewis Hamilton, took the spotlight at the 2025 American Express Leadership Academy in London.
In a powerful discussion on purposeful leadership, Lewis shared his journey in founding Mission 44 and emphasised the critical role of intergenerational decision-making in building a fairer world. He was joined by 65 influential nonprofit leaders from 24 countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
American Express is supporting Mission 44 with our ongoing expansion in the US, so that young people from under-resourced communities can access great careers in STEM and motorsport. Its Leadership Academy is a global programme dedicated to developing the next generation of nonprofit and social impact leaders, and since launching in 2007, has supported more than 165,000 leaders worldwide; participants include representatives from Mission 44 and our partners.
