‘Thanks to Mission 44, CAPE was able to redevelop our website and secure external support to guide our five-year strategy. This has been extremely valuable as we grow our reach to new local authorities and schools.’

'Mission 44’s collaborative approach indicates a real desire for meaningful impact. We’re confident that extending our Making Engineering Hot programme to more underserved communities will show real change is possible when we work together.'

Our partner survey results

Mission 44’s annual partner survey allows us to collect regular feedback, learn directly from
the people and organisations we support, and evolve our approach as a progressive funder. Here are some highlights from 2025:

IMPROVING IMPACT

94% said partnering with us improved the effectiveness of their organisation

TRANSPARENCY

100% felt they could be open with Mission 44 staff about successes and challenges

YOUTH ENGAGEMENT

84% said partnering with us increased awareness of their work

EVALUATING WORK

90% said partnering with us helped them learn where they could enhance their impact

COLLABORATION

95% felt Mission 44 is collaborative and genuinely values their expertise and experience

COMMUNICATION

89% said our proposal and assessment processes were clearly communicated

Our 2025 survey was completed by 19 partners – a 58% response rate. While this means the results may not fully represent the views of all partners, they still offer valuable insights that can inform our grantmaking approach.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT

While 79% felt our reporting was proportionate, we recognise that for smaller organisations, the frequency of reports can be overwhelming. So, as we seek more robust data to meet our own accountability needs, we’re reflecting on how to better tailor our approach.

61% said they benefitted from access to networks in the Mission 44 ecosystem. As a funder with a bird’s-eye view, we must proactively spot and facilitate opportunities for collaboration across our network.

While 79% felt supported with clear branding and communications guidance, we’re committed to amplifying our partners’ stories, and will continue to refine our processes to make this as easy as possible for all of our partners.
