'Mission 44’s collaborative approach indicates a real desire for meaningful impact. We’re confident that extending our Making Engineering Hot programme to more underserved communities will show real change is possible when we work together.'

Our grant strategy

Grantmaking enables Mission 44 to discover, support and scale up solutions that improve outcomes for young people under the age of 24, including but not limited to, young people of colour and those from low-income backgrounds.

We’re here to get behind solutions with the potential to change the system. Our grantmaking decisions are informed by research and our Youth Advisory Board is involved at every step.

OUR GRANTMAKING POLICY

Through collective action and collaboration, we can create a fairer future. In building our network of organisations, we aim to:

+
Actively include young people in shaping our priorities and decisions
+
Partner with organisations that have historically been underfunded
+
Use our grantmaking to catalyse innovation and draw in further investment
+
Be transparent about our approach, who we fund, and why
+
Support the partners we work with beyond funding, providing resource for capacity-building
+
Be flexible and trusting, offering both restricted and unrestricted grants

Our grantmaking data is open to all and can be accessed here via 360Giving.
