Mission 44 call for Government intervention to reduce record number of UK school exclusions

As part of Global Education week, Mission 44, is launching ‘Nothing Happens In Isolation’ – a campaign to reduce UK school exclusions and support at-risk students, teachers and schools. Mission 44 is urging the government to address the root causes behind record-high exclusion rates.

🚨 Yesterday, we launched Nothing Happens in Isolation - a national campaign to #preventexclusions and support at-risk students, teachers and schools.

To discuss the campaign, our Founder, Lewis Hamilton sat down with Jade, a young campaigner with experience of school exclusion, and Jaiden, Mission 44 Youth Advisory Board member.

In this first clip, Lewis talks with Jade and Jaiden about his own experiences of school exclusion, why it’s such a complex issue, and what we all need to do to build a more inclusive education system ✨
